Celebrating Segregation & Racism

Sept. 24, 2925
The Philadelphia Tribune
Attn. Staff

Couldn't we have 'The Tribune celebrates this year's Most influential Americans of Philadelphia ?             Does it have to be a celebration based on segregation and race
Just a thought

Sent from my iPhone from a 'special' place in space and time where,  'The Philadelphia Tribune is the nation’s oldest continuously published newspaper reflecting the African-American experience.'
However it does not mean you have to live in the past.

"It's not important where you came from but, where you are going."

“The genius of America is that out of the many we became one. Providence has enabled our paths to intersect. His fore parents came to America on immigrant ships.   My fore parents came to Amellrica on slave ships. But, whatever the original ships, we're in the same boat tonight.

Promoting Violence

Media Bias and Its Complicity in Promoting Violence: The Danger of Calling Trump "Hitler"

July 19, 2025

One of the most egregious examples of this bias is the comparison of former President Donald Trump to Adolf Hitler. This inflammatory rhetoric is not only irresponsible but also dangerous, contributing to an atmosphere of hostility and division that can incite violence.

When the press, engages in such hyperbolic comparisons, it stokes fear and anger among the populace. This fear-mongering can lead to real-world violence, as individuals may feel justified in taking extreme actions against someone they believe to be an existential threat.

For instance, we have witnessed instances of violence against Trump supporters, as well as threats and harassment towards conservative figures. The media’s biased reporting and sensationalist headlines contribute to a climate where political violence becomes normalized. This is not only a threat to those who hold different political views but to the very fabric of our democracy.

NBC News - 9/11/25

This type of news reporting is not helpful.
And, the continuous 24/7 coverage only encourages more of the same criminal behavior. The media knows this and does it anyway. According to O'Rielly's definition, this is close to being EVEL!

Oct. 23, 2024 in Washington, D.C.  Harris spoke on former White House Chief of Staff Kelly's recent comments on former U.S. President Trump, including that he fits "into the general definition of fascist and wanted the "kind of generals Hitler had", in a series of interviews Tuesday.

The COMMON SOLDIER

 August 1, 2025

Mayor and City Council of Brandon Ms.

The statue of the Confederate sildier was erected in 1907  by the Brandon Chapter of the United Daughters of the Confederacy.

May we be guided by the values of justice, and compassion, and respect for all members of our community.”
Brennan Pickering Brandon Ms.

Who could complain about a monument dedicated to dead Confederate soldiers?
John Toney Brandon Ms.

First the battle flag, or any unit flag, represents the soldier…..
Nothing more and nothing less.
It was the Democrat Party and Hollywood that have used the Battle Flag in dishonorable, immoral and despicable ways to intimidate and for profit.

Second, you must have a concept of State. At time of the Civil War most citizens were loyal to their States first. Based on journals, letters and personal statement’s soldiers, both North and South were fighting for their States. Like Lee, they agreed with the North on slavery but could not raise a sword against their own State.

"In this enlightened age, there are few I believe, but what will acknowledge, that slavery as an institution is a moral & political evil in any country."
Robert E. Lee
Also Lee was against slavery,
succession from the Union and
the war. After the war he was a teacher, including former slaves, avoided politics and encouraged the 'Old South' to accept defeat and work to rebuild the Nation. Last, Lee was against any monuments to honor the CSA or the war.

Why dishonor the Confederate soldier when your grievances are with the government? The government was the Democrat Party.
The Democrat Party is still here.  Seems, justice, the way forward, would be to lay blame for slavery on the government,
not soldiers or their flag.
Next after the government would be the slave owners and slave traders in the States.
"The Negro slave-holders, like the white ones, fought to keep their chattels in the Civil War." Woodson also notes that some black men, including those in New Orleans at the outbreak of the War, "fought to perpetuate slavery."
Also, some native Americans, people of the First Nations wanted to keep their slaves.

“I knew that however bad the Republican Party was, the Democratic party was much worse."
Fredrick Douglas

Note: I was not a combat veteran. I spent my tour with the 3rd Infantry, The Old Guard. Based on the history of the 3rd Infantry and regular education classes on the military and our duties I developed a strong respect for the common soldier.
Especially, the soldiers of the Civil War,
both North and South.

In every soldier's life there is a beginning and an ending.
I was at the ending of too many soldiers.

Jan. 6th - Fact or Fiction

July 24, 2022

CBS - Mississippi Insight

 News Director, and Staff,

The Left says that President Trump's speech incited violence... (and CBS)
...LIE - Trump told people to, "peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard."

Rep. Benny Thompson (D)
and Pelosi calls it an "armed insurrection"... (armed mob)
...LIE - Not a single firearm was found on a protestor.

The radical Left claims the demonstrators caused fatal injuries...
...LIE - the only person killed was an unarmed, Air Force Veteran protester who was shot at point-blank range.

Pelosi knows that January 6th wasn't a "terrorist attack" or "insurrection."
David Horowitz - 7/19/22

Fact or Fiction?

I know that one of the claims of Jan. 6th. is false. Others I'm not sure if they are fact or fiction. If ABC, CBS and NBC Networks were not selective regarding what news they report and did not pass off rumors and hearsay evidence as facts I would be much better informed. Possibly, I would have enough accurate information to know which claims were Fact or Fiction.

Hail to the Redskins

 Jan. 15,   2022

Washington Times
Letters to the Editor

I have heard rumors that the NFL team in Washington DC are contemplating changing
their name.
Based on my personal research
I found a name that seems a perfect fit for the team. And, as
amazing as it seems I found an old fight song that is a perfect
match. Also rumored to be song
with emotion, feelings and passion by by the fans. A rare
experience I have been told by
some old timers.
There are some neat things about the new name and fight
song. Most important of all they
honor the tribes of the First Nations. Those who fought and died to maintain their way of life and culture like Lozen, an Apache, or Nde, woman who resisted European domination. Known for her bravery, military prowess and dedication to her people’s safety.
Also, a strong nod to members of the First Nations who played
a role in the early history of the team. The coaches and the players.  And revived the spirit of Wing Foot and Indian Football of the early 20th Century.

In 1932, the Boston Braves, coached by the Native American Lone Star Dietz, were nicknamed 'the Redskins'in honour of their charismatic and successful coach according to some historical notes.

“Indian football” in the National Football League.
Indian football was a wide open brand of early twentieth century football, usually played by Native American teams.

The new name should be:
The WASHINGTON REDSKINS

Last, if you believe that the iconic symbol of a Native American of the First Nations on the helmet or ‘Hail to the Redskins’ is racism you should
rethink your thinking.
You might want to consider something that is racism. The ‘Jim Crow’ policy of the National Football League.
That is rewards and benefits
based on race.

Hail to the Redskins!
Hail Victory!
Braves on the Warpath!
Fight for old D.C.!
Run or pass and score—We want a lot more!
Beat 'em, Swamp 'em,
Touchdown! -- Let the points soar!
Fight on, fight on 'Til you have won
Sons of Wash-ing-ton. Rah!, Rah!, Rah!
Hail to the Redskins!
Hail Victory!
Braves on the Warpath!
Fight for old D.C.!

HATE CRIMES

Dec. 30, 2019
WDAM NBC
Investigative Team
iteam@wdam.com

HATE CRIMES
Perpetrators of hate crimes are motivated by their personal bias against an individual or group of people belonging to a protected group.
A crime of violence that is motivated by prejudice or intolerance rance against an individual or group of people.
Hate speech is talk that attacks an individual or a specific group based on a protected group or class.
Legal Dictionary
  1. There should be no class of citizens or group that have special privileges* in the eyes of the law. It has the stink of Jim Crow laws or policy that enhance the rights of one citizen by restricting the rights of another citizen.
  2. I personally find burning an American flag or burning a Christian cross hateful motivated by their personal bias against an individual or group of citizens despicable.
  3. Burning a cross or flag should fall under hate crime laws. But, in the real world they do not.
  4. One falls under a protected class. One falls under the unprotected classes.
  5. Burning a cross motivated by personal bias can put the citizen in jail for cross burning, sentenced to 11 years in federal prison.*
  6. Burning an American flag motivated by prejudice or intolerance against an individual or group of people is protected free speech.
  7. Hate crime laws and protected classes of citizens amounts to the unequal protection and unequal application of the law under The Constitution
  8. This is what you should be investigating. Not more ways to violate civil liberties and civil rights of all the citizens.
  9. Both acts; burning a Cross and burning the Flag are like acts for the same like objectives.
Punishing citizens for what they think or believe belong In the realm of Kings  and  Dictators, not in the legal system of a Constitutional Republic.
Punishing citizens for hate speech or hate crimes is a very dangerous road to go down. The ‘road’ leads to Golags & Corrective Camps aiming to instill loyalty to the ruling Political Party.

Mayor Pete liberal..?

Openly gay Democratic presidential candidate wants to 'broker that peace deal' with Chick-fil-A

Pete Buttigieg, the Indiana mayor seeking the Democratic presidential nomination in 2020,

Mar. 27, 2019

Mr. Mayor,

To achieve your goal is very simple. You and your community should stop harassment and threats to harm those with witch you disagree on religious beliefs. Especially, since you, your community and the Democrat Party fully embrace the Military Political Complex of Islam and  the penalty for being Gay is
Death !?

As a liberal myself it is hard to be liberal to a mean spirited
intolerant religious bigots, extremely anti-liberal individuals or political parties such as yourself and the city who actually are,  what they accuse others of being..
...but I try !?
