Hail to the Redskins

 Jan. 15,   2022

Washington Times
Letters to the Editor

I have heard rumors that the NFL team in Washington DC are contemplating changing
their name.
Based on my personal research
I found a name that seems a perfect fit for the team. And, as
amazing as it seems I found an old fight song that is a perfect
match. Also rumored to be song
with emotion, feelings and passion by by the fans. A rare
experience I have been told by
some old timers.
There are some neat things about the new name and fight
song. Most important of all they
honor the tribes of the First Nations. Those who fought and died to maintain their way of life and culture like Lozen, an Apache, or Nde, woman who resisted European domination. Known for her bravery, military prowess and dedication to her people’s safety.
Also, a strong nod to members of the First Nations who played
a role in the early history of the team. The coaches and the players.  And revived the spirit of Wing Foot and Indian Football of the early 20th Century.

In 1932, the Boston Braves, coached by the Native American Lone Star Dietz, were nicknamed 'the Redskins'in honour of their charismatic and successful coach according to some historical notes.

“Indian football” in the National Football League.
Indian football was a wide open brand of early twentieth century football, usually played by Native American teams.

The new name should be:
The WASHINGTON REDSKINS

Last, if you believe that the iconic symbol of a Native American of the First Nations on the helmet or ‘Hail to the Redskins’ is racism you should
rethink your thinking.
You might want to consider something that is racism. The ‘Jim Crow’ policy of the National Football League.
That is rewards and benefits
based on race.

Hail to the Redskins!
Hail Victory!
Braves on the Warpath!
Fight for old D.C.!
Run or pass and score—We want a lot more!
Beat 'em, Swamp 'em,
Touchdown! -- Let the points soar!
Fight on, fight on 'Til you have won
Sons of Wash-ing-ton. Rah!, Rah!, Rah!
Hail to the Redskins!
Hail Victory!
Braves on the Warpath!
Fight for old D.C.!

HATE CRIMES

HATE CRIMES
Perpetrators of hate crimes are motivated by their personal bias against an individual or group of people belonging to a protected group.
A crime of violence that is motivated by prejudice or intolerance rance against an individual or group of people.
Hate speech is talk that attacks an individual or a specific group based on a protected group or class.
Legal Dictionary
  1. There should be no class of citizens or group that have special privileges* in the eyes of the law. It has the stink of Jim Crow laws or policy that enhance the rights of one citizen by restricting the rights of another citizen.
  2. I personally find burning an American flag or burning a Christian cross hateful motivated by their personal bias against an individual or group of citizens despicable.
  3. Burning a cross or flag should fall under hate crime laws. But, in the real world they do not.
  4. One falls under a protected class. One falls under the unprotected classes.
  5. Burning a cross motivated by personal bias can put the citizen in jail for cross burning, sentenced to 11 years in federal prison.*
  6. Burning an American flag motivated by prejudice or intolerance against an individual or group of people is protected free speech.
  7. Hate crime laws and protected classes of citizens amounts to the unequal protection and unequal application of the law under The Constitution
  8. This is what you should be investigating. Not more ways to violate civil liberties and civil rights of all the citizens.
  9. Both acts; burning a Cross and burning the Flag are like acts for the same like objectives.
Punishing citizens for what they think or believe belong In the realm of Kings  and  Dictators, not in the legal system of a Constitutional Republic.
Punishing citizens for hate speech or hate crimes is a very dangerous road to go down. The ‘road’ leads to Golags & Corrective Camps aiming to instill loyalty to the ruling Political Party.

Mayor Pete liberal..?

Openly gay Democratic presidential candidate wants to 'broker that peace deal' with Chick-fil-A

Pete Buttigieg, the Indiana mayor seeking the Democratic presidential nomination in 2020,

Mar. 27, 2019

Mr. Mayor,

To achieve your goal is very simple. You and your community should stop harassment and threats to harm those with witch you disagree on religious beliefs. Especially, since you, your community and the Democrat Party fully embrace the Military Political Complex of Islam and  the penalty for being Gay is
Death !?

As a liberal myself it is hard to be liberal to a mean spirited
intolerant religious bigots, extremely anti-liberal individuals or political parties such as yourself and the city who actually are,  what they accuse others of being..
...but I try !?

Bill to Ban Open Carry

The US Constitution was adopted on September 17, 1787, and ratified June 21, 1788.

Senator Darrell Steinberg (D-6)
(916) 651-4006
senator.steinberg@senate.ca.gov

Senate Appropriations Committee Dear Senator Steinburg,

Please consider the following.

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed was adopted on December 15, 1791.

We as a Nation must follow the US Constitution. Especially, elected officials as yourself. Unfortunately, the reverse is true. It is the elected and appointed public employees that are most at fault in ignoring the Constitution or making laws, rules and regulations that diminish or cause some guarantees to be useless to void. Rather than place more restrictions on the right of self-defense for law-abiding Californians, you the public employee legislator, should take steps to ensure that all citizens of the State of California are treated equally by enacting a statewide “shall-issue” Right-to-Carry law, with clear standards for the issuance of a carry permit that all counties must follow. It is your duty to uphold the US Constitution or step down without any further cost or burden to the taxpayer.

Last, from a financial point of view Assembly Bill 144 is unconstitutional on it's face. And, will result in millions of tax dollars wasted on a long losing court battle which will only further burden our already overburdened legal system. Not to mention the waste of public employee resources regarding productive hours worked and paid. Thank you for giving this serious matter your attention, Lightfoot Letters

Madam Speaker

May 25, 2010

Nancy Pelosi
Congresswoman 8th. District California

Madam Speaker, I listened with interest as you spoke of a civilized society. John Loke, the father of liberalism, thought 'tolerance' was necessary for a civilized society to continue as a civilized society and prosper as a free nation.

Tolerance, a liberal concept, that the Democrat Party is completely lacking. From being members and supporters of the Klan, to being members and supporters of the Race; from union thugs on the street, to political thugs on the college campus; from illiberal hacks in the media, to illiberal hacks in the education system, from the oppression of the Federal Government to the oppression of public employee unions, the Democrat Party shows a complete lack of understanding of what it takes to maintain a civilized society.

That is, the liberal concept of tolerance which is necessary for all citizens to exercise those 'natural rights.' Those natural rights found in liberalism that can not be granted nor denied by the state. Which, one is, that I alone may decide what is best for myself, as long I cause no harm to others. Yes, tolerance is absolutely necessary for a civilized society to continue and prosper as a free nation state. I hope you Madam Speaker, the President and Congress will keep this in mind when you feel the need to act as 'The Great White Father' taking care of all his children, at the expense of those liberal concepts so important to the founding of this nation state we call home.

And, as a last thought Madam Speaker, if you, the President or Congress feel this 'Great White Father Complex' overwhelming your common sense; please think of the Native Americans and reservations; think of black families in inner cities; think of single moms married to the government; think of the many family units without a real 'father' living in the household. Please just think.

With all due respect,

The COST of Not Being Offended...

Letter to The LA Times Group

"Have Democrats been tough enough on Senator Harry Reid for making racially insensitive remarks? -Daily Pilot - Jan. 14, 2010 - pg. A5‏‏
I want to make sure I understand. We want politicians to talk to us in a frank manner and verse. When one does, we try to kill him, destroy his family and nail his pet dog to a cross.Harry reportedly said, "The country is ready to embrace a black candidate, especially like Obama (not unlike Colin Powell) - because he was light-skinned African American with no Negro dialect, unless he wanted to have one ( President Obama and Senator Clinton seem to find this dialect on the right occasion).
"Colorism as it has been dubbed, is this idea, and it results in privilege afforded to lighter-skinned black people both within and outside of the black community." Maya Rupert - LA Watts Times.
"I guess I underestimated the selfishness of some of my fellow Americans." President Obama referring to war veterans objecting to the President plan to make them pay for their medical care. If you live in a world of emotion this is much more insensitive than Sen. Reid's analysis of the election. As a vet myself, I appreciate knowing the Commander in Chief's attitude towards military veterans. The hypocrites among us that demand honest and frank words from our elected officials and then whine and cry and demand them to apologize are worse than the politicians they criticize.

Rahm Emanuel once said "fing retards." (He was referring to voters who expected Obama to fight for things.) Chris Kelly - Huffington Post
"You have to be kind to the disabled." Charlie Rangel referring to then Gov. Palin. This is insensitive in many ways. Do we think the disabled or Sara Palin are to weak to know what Charlie Rangel or Rahm Emanuel thinks. Once again, bring in the clowns we have elected to public office to pretend to be offended. And, bring in the media clowns to write volumes of un-important drivel not related to what was said. But, how it was said. For the rest of us, we should appreciate and encourage honesty. Even, if it does offend in some way. For, the cost of not being offended is too great of a price to pay. That price is ignorance.

"My grandmother was not a highly educated woman, but she told me as a small child to quit feeding stray animals. You know why? Because they breed. You're facilitating the problem if you give an animal or a person ample food supply. They will reproduce, especially ones that don't think too much further than that. And so what you've got to do is you've got to curtail that type of behavior. They don't know any better," Lt. Gov. South Carolina -Andre Bauer. The letters and demands for an apology and or resignation were in the mail before he finished the sentence.

Citizens for and against statements made by Santa Clarita City Councilman Bob Kellar, get into a spirited discussion about immigration issues, and comments made by Kellar. CA 1/26/2010 (John McCoy/Staff Photographer) Santa Clarita, Ca. Councilman Bob Kellar, who called himself a "proud racist" during an anti-illegal immigration rally two weeks ago.
He first referred to a statement from President Theodore Roosevelt that said the United States only has room for one flag and one language. He said he had quoted it at a past city council meeting. "The only thing I heard back from a couple of people was `Bob, you sound like a racist'," Kellar said. "I said, `That's good. If that's what you think I am because I happen to believe in America. I'm a proud racist. You're darn right I am'." The printing companies are making a lot of money selling posters demanding that this racist councilman resign. And, the Los Angeles TV News stations only report the 'proud racist part' in an effort to get your attention. Do you just want to hear 'proud racist' or would like to know what was intended or do you think we can not have any negative use of the word race? "You know, I forgot he was black tonight for an hour." Chris Mathews referring to President Obama during his address to the nation. Oh yes, there are those calling Mathews a racist for partisan reasons of course...not because they think he is a supporter of Darwinism and race superiority.

Senator Reid may have faults but this is not one of them. Any reasonably educated person with some life experience would come to the same conclusion after a brief analysis. And, history has proven his analysis to be correct. The only mistake Harry made was apologizing and not making clear what he meant. He might add, their is no right, nor expectation not be offended or protected from insensitive political analysis. And, we should stop treating minorities like they they are unable to function in society without protection from anything and everything that might educate or offend in some way. As Harry Truman (D) said "if you can't stand the heat get out of the kitchen."

"Colorism as it has been dubbed, is this idea, and it results in privilege afforded to lighter-skinned black people both within and outside of the black community.
"Reid's comments, while inelegant, were ..... True." - Maya Rupert - LA Watts Times.

Again, the cost of not being offended is too great of a price to pay. That price is ignorance and failure to learn.

Corruption, deceit, failure and union thugs‏

June 27, 2009 President Barack Hussein Obama1600 Pennsylvania Ave NWWashington, DC 20500

Dear Mr. President,

Please say it aint so! This news story is a picture of corruption, deceit and failure to protect the average citizen from the Federal Government. "With health care nationalization apparently headed for the morgue in the House and Senate, the latest scheme to revive it is to give union health plans a special tax break. This will create a Frankenstein.
Spending a trillion dollars as a down payment for a government takeover of health care is a dream of many Democrats. The current plan in Congress would create a government insurance plan that would drive out the private ones. The problem, though, is the cost. Even moderate Democrats are having second thoughts about that, as well as all the quality problems associated with socialized medicine. Even so, health care nationalization's biggest boosters are cooking up bad new plans

Sen. Max Baucus, D-Mont., and Sen. Ted Kennedy, D-Mass., both would like to slap a tax on private health plans to pay for a new government one. But they've carved out one very big exception: unions and their gold-plated benefit packages. This effectively gives Big Labor an advantage in the market and forces nonunion workers to subsidize unions for their share of this bad idea. The logic behind this tax giveaway is that union health plans, which are lavish, would be subject to higher taxes than those of workers with regular private sector health care plans.According to news reports, if unions get a special tax break for themselves on health care taxes, they'll gladly muscle "their" Congress members into supporting a "public option" health care bill."In short, it's little more than a political payoff to unions for spending $400 million in campaign cash to elect Democrats to Congress and the White House last year. As if the outrageous favors they've received from the auto bailouts aren't enough. But unions don't just get a tax break. They also get a great recruiting tool. After all, nationalizing health care in itself undermines any reason to belong to a union, since unions exist to squeeze more out of companies. If a company is no longer involved in health care and thus can no longer be squeezed, why belong to a union? The answer: special tax privileges. This will artificially beef up union membership. Who wouldn't want tax-free health care over subsidizing someone else's as the current congressional bills dictate? With the Employee Free Choice Act to coerce workers into unions now dead in the water, this could be a backdoor means of doing the same thing — while bringing in more campaign cash to Democrats. This may be great for the Democrats and their union backers, but it's bad for the rest of us. By creating a two-tier system of pricing for health care, and with it privileges for party elites, it's fundamentally unfair to the public as a whole. The people who will get the short end of the stick on this — the rationing, the shortages, the wait lists — will be the very ones forced into paying for other people's health care. Unions will get a free ride. Remember that whenever health care is "free" or subsidized to consumers, it distorts the market and creates disincentives to cut costs. So under the Kennedy-Baucus plan, union health care costs will soar without restraint. And ordinary Americans will pay. This will turn unions, whose members comprise only 6% of U.S. workers, into a privileged caste, for no other reason than their political muscle with Democrats. There's a word for this: Peronism. That was the populist political patronage system that took Argentina from one of the richest countries in the world in the early 20th century to the economically troubled nation it is today. It's a bad model for the U.S. to follow.* Just to mention that this is a gross mis-use of the office of the president and your administration. This is an example of change we did not elect you to do.
